The Independent Study and Mentorship program is a class that provides students with real world experience in a topic of interest they choose.  It provides an opportunity for students to tailor their research and the work they do to best fit themselves and their interest in the topic.  By seeing and working with mentors, students are able to get a feel for what the future may hold for them in that field and allows them to work towards creating a meaningful final product that is to be presented as a result of their findings.
